Live Oak Leaf Necklace is hand patinaed bronze. The bronze snake chain necklace comes in 16 and 18 inch lengths. Each style has a 2 inch extender on the back of the necklace for additional comfort and length.

This necklace is part of the collection designed by Jewelry Artist Michael Michaud for Silver Seasons Jewelry to honor 130 year old oak trees located on the campus at Auburn University at the edge of downtown Auburn, Alabama.

Seeped in tradition, the oak trees are a symbol of Auburn pride. The Auburn community gathers under the Toomer's oak trees to celebrate big wins.  Sadly, these trees were poisoned with a lethal dose of tebuthiuron, an herbicide.
